As Financial Project Manager in Nordic Consulting Group you will have a core position in our administrative team and have a great deal of responsibilities from the first day on the job. You will be in charge of project- and contract management from proposal stage to final invoicing. On top of this, our financial project manager is assisting the managing director in the financial reporting of the company to the board of directors and a high degree of perfectionism is therefore needed.

Key responsibilities
We are looking for a Financial Project Manager to contribute to the marketing, acquisition and management of projects with strong competencies within financial controlling. Key tasks include:
- Assistance in relation to tendering and proposals to clients, herein recruiting and negotiating with international consultants for projects, preparation of budgets, quality assurance of technical proposals etc.
- Financial management of contacts and back-up services to internal and external consultants
- Financial controlling, including monthly and yearly reporting, some bookkeeping and payments, and regularly following up on creditors and debtors
- Proactive participation in the daily practical tasks of running a secretariat
Who we are looking for
You hold a master’s degree within Finance, Economics, Business and Development or equivalent and have either recently graduated or have 2-3 years of experience. You have a natural interest in accounting, financial management and reporting and also in international development. You have excellent MS Excel skills and experience working with MS Navision or equivalent accounting system is a clear advantage.
You have a personal drive and work well under pressure with tight deadlines. You have the ability to adapt to a changing environment, and in doing so can be creative. Team work is an important part of our projects, but the good candidate will also be a self-starter. You are smiling and service-minded even when put under pressure, and you have excellent communication skills. Fluency in Danish and English is required and good communication skills in French and/or Spanish will be an advantage.
Practical
The position is full time (37 hours a week), with work from our office centrally located at Amagerbro in Copenhagen, Denmark. We offer partially paid lunch from our canteen and flexible working hours.
