The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently in a five-year agreement with NCG to boost its capacity to manage and support the DGDP programme and its partnerships.

Danida Green Business Partnerships (DGBP) is a challenge fund of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs designed to promote market-driven green transition and inclusive economic growth in developing countries in line with the Danish Strategy for Development Cooperation The World We Share. DGDP complements other Danish bilateral and multilateral engagements that aim at promoting inclusive economic development and employment opportunities, among others through increased trade, green investments and business development.

By engaging private sector finance and competencies in combination with local development knowledge of non-commercial partners, the programme aims to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), in particular addressing climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, environmental protection, biodiversity and inclusive growth

The DGDP Secretariat handles the day-to-day management of the DGDP programme and the dialogue with the its partnerships under implementation.
