NCG is looking for two ambitious interns interested in pursuing a career in international development cooperation and humanitarian aid. The internship offers hands-on experience in project acquisition, contract management, and IT & communication. 

ABOUT NCG 

As an intern in Nordic Consulting Group (NCG), you will be part of an exciting international consultancy firm that carries out a broad range of consultancy assignments globally with a special focus on Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Our services focus on all sectors and themes related to international development, where our core competencies lie within governance, human rights & equality, climate & environment, private sector development and sustainable growth, and the humanitarian-development nexus. NCG's main clients include Danida, Sida, Norad, Swiss Development Cooperation, the EU, the World Bank, the UN agencies, and various national and international NGOs.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Passionate about international development and humanitarian work
  • Curious and quick learner
  • Can work independently and take initiative
  • Solid planning and coordination skills
  • Strong communication skills and excellent writing skills in English
  • An interest in communication including visual design and storytelling is an advantage
  • An understanding of AI models, API integrations and/or Microsoft Power Platform would be a great asset
  • Ability to understand Danish
  • Enrolled at a Danish University, or other institutions of higher education

TASKS

As an intern, you will work closely with our team of project managers, partners, and a network of external consultants. Your tasks will be varying and will include but not be limited to: 

  • Fast and efficient identification and monitoring of upcoming and relevant project opportunities 
  • Providing support to Project Managers in tender processes 
  • Supporting contractual, financial, and administrative management 
  • Supporting IT & Communication projects
 

EMERGING FOCUS AREAS FOR INTERNS

As NCG grows, we’re expanding our internship roles to reflect new strategic directions, especially within digital transformation and communication. We welcome applicants interested in one or more of the following areas (no prior expertise required):

  • Interest in communication, incl. professional storytelling and visual communication, managing the new company website and social media accounts
  • Practical skills in Microsoft’s Power Platform
  • Knowledge of AI modelling and automation of digital workflows
  • Knowledge of platform integrations


HOW TO APPLY

The internship is eligible for ECTS credits at relevant institutions and runs full-time (37 hours/week) from August 2025 to January 2026. While unpaid, a monthly compensation is offered.
