NCG Denmark is currently leading a consortium for Sida's Framework Contract for Evaluation Services. We are pleased to announce that the FA has just been extended for another year and will now be running until September 2022.

The FA has been keeping us busy in the last quarter of 2020, which resulted in the award of four new call-off contracts.

We are proud to announce that together with our consortium partners NCG Sweden and Triple Line we were tasked with implementation of the following:

  • Democracy, human rights, and gender equality projects in North Caucasus
NCG evaluated part of Sida’s work with human rights and democracy in the North Caucasus which was commenced under the strategy, “Results strategy for Sweden’s support for democracy, human rights and environment in Russia 2014-2018”. The NCG team was composed by Zehra Kacapor-Dzihic (team leader), Natasha Warcholak, Olesea Stamate and Dolf Noppen (Quality Assurance).
  • Democracy, human rights, and freedom of expression project in North Caucasus
NCG evaluated part of Sida’s work with human rights and democracy in the North Caucasus which was commenced under the strategy, “Results strategy for Sweden’s support for democracy, human rights and environment in Russia 2014-2018”. • Internal review of Sida’s environment and climate integration process
Sida has started an Internal Review of its integration of environment-and climate-related issues into the operations. Environment/climate is one of six priority areas to be mainstreamed into all Sida’s development interventions at all levels, both in the organisational performance/operations and in the individual project cycles. The NCG team was composed by Tore Laugerud (team leader) and Arne Svensson.
  • Process evaluation of three donor agencies’ responses to the Covid-19 pandemic in Bolivia during the period March-October 2020
The Canadian embassy, Sida and SDC, each having a bilateral cooperation program in Bolivia, applied internal measures of control to ensure continuity in their work and to protect their staff from exposure, while at the same time attempting to respond to the crisis and other priorities in the country through reprogramming and additional contributions. The process of responding to the pandemic is the focus of this current evaluation. The NCG team is composed by Carsten Schwensen (team leader NCG DK), Louise Mailloux, Louise Smed, Jose Antonio Perez Arenas, and Penny Hawkins (Quality Assurance).
