Sida Framework Agreement for Democracy and Human Rights
NCG is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Sida Framework Agreement for Democracy and Human Rights in consortium with NCG Sweden, Tana Copenhagen and Trodomundos. The Consortium has established cooperation with the recognized research institutes: The Quality of Government (QoG) Institute at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg and researchers in the Network of Development Studies, who are staff of the Department of Government and the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at University of Uppsala.
The Framework includes the following thematic sub-areas:
• Local Democracy and Decentralization
• Political Institutions, Political Participation and Pluralist Civil Society
• Public Financial Management
• State building, Public Institutions and Public Administration
• Human Rights Systems, Human Rights Defenders and Rule of Law • Equal Rights and Non-Discrimination
• Freedom of Expression and Access to Information Online and Offline
• Human Rights Based Approach
