The objective of the consultancy assignment was to assist CARE Denmark to develop a three year project proposal is support of Climate Change Adaptation for vulnerable populations living in the Kilimanjaro region in Northern Tanzania. The proposal was submitted to the "Operation Dagsværk" organisation in Denmark, an organisation for youth in Danish high schools. The project was youth focused and composed of three components of capacity building, climate change adaptation and advocacy and policy work. If successful, the project will be implemented by CARE Tanzania and two Tanzanian partners.

Types of services provided
- Carry out desk work on climate change and youth in Tanzania;
- Organise, prepare and facilitate a 2 days formulation workshop for CARE Tanzania and local partners;
- Draft project proposal, including project description, background document on implementing organisations, log-frame, and Memorandum of Understanding;
- Liaise with CARE Denmark and ensure that the documents would be tailored to the specific needs of the donor.
