The Danish Family Planning Association (DFPA) is working with sexual and reproductive health and rights in Denmark and internationally. One of the areas that has been developed and strengthened is the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) within projects, programmes and thematic areas.

As part of a further development of this process, DFPA has engaged NCG to work with relevant staff of DFPA in Copenhagen, in country offices and key staff of partner organisations in a two-year process consultancy on its programmes in Kenya and Uganda.

NCG will develop and pilot the use of Real Time Evaluation (RTE) in the programmes in the two countries and will also work actively with better and new knowledge management (KM) efforts. The consultants will deliver two baseline studies, one in Kenya and one in Uganda, which the programmes will use to set up their log-frame, Theory of Change, M&E system etc.

Finally, the consultants will work closely with DFPA in Copenhagen in a capacity building process with focus on the organisation’s M&E and KM system and propose amendments and inputs in order for DFPA to make use of the results from the RTE pilot on an organisational level.
