Marianne Jacobsen Toftgaard
PartnerMarianne Jacobsen Toftgaard holds an M.Sc. in Human Geography from the University of Copenhagen. She has more than 20 years of experience working with climate change policies and plans, climate justice and civil society inclusion, green and just transition, and sustainability and building multi-stakeholder partnerships. Marianne has worked with large international civil society organisations and networks such as WWF International and Climate Action Network International, as well as having engaged in international partnerships with for example GIZ, ITUC, ILO and IISD. Marianne has also worked with the private financial sector on sustainable finance. Marianne has extensive experience in strategy and programme development, design of policy advocacy interventions and campaigns for civil society organisations and global networks. She holds strong competencies in strategy reviews and formulations and rights-based programming.
