General professional experience:

Maja Pedersen holds a MA in International Studies and a BA in English and European Studies, both from Aarhus University. Maja has experience working with the areas of Migration, Fragility, Development and the Humanitarian-Development nexus and has worked as Junior Consultant on several NCG formulation- and evaluation assignments for bilateral and multilateral donors such as Danida, SDC and the EU. Maja has strong analytical skills with regards to analysis and systematization of large amounts of information, including quantitative and qualitative data collection. She masters the design of research methods and data collection tools such as interviews and questionnaires, as well as coordination and planning of field missions. She has previously held positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and several Danish NGO’s and thus hold broad knowledge and understanding of international development cooperation.
