Ayla Yurtaslan holds a MSc in Global Development from Copenhagen University, and has experience working in the fields of migration, forced displacement, human rights, fragility and gender, as well as the humanitarian-development nexus. Ayla has worked as a Junior Consultant at NCG on several research, scoping, formulation – and evaluation assignments for bilateral and multilateral donors such as Danida, the EU, and the World Bank. She has experience in the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research methods, as well as practical experience with data collection tools such as interviews and questionnaires. Ayla has extensive international experience, especially with the South Asian region, having lived in Pakistan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and Tanzania, and through working in the Asia Programme at the Danish Institute for Human Rights.
