NCG Partner Marina Buch Kristensen is presenting a paper at the Oxford conference on Politics in Development .

The paper is part of the session on ”The Politics of Public Sector Transformation” and draws on data from recent evaluations of donor-funded capacity development programmes and a study of Sida’s support to public institutions in the 2000s, which Marina has been part off. Using the ”working with the grain” approach and a fresh view of institutions as living mechanisms the paper examines the data with a view to suggesting how institutional and political settlement analysis can make reforms more effective.
